Summary
CaptionPeel has no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. It does not collect personal information or send your videos, captions, or usage data to Fly Media LLC or any third party.
Video and caption processing
CaptionPeel accesses only video files you explicitly open or drop into the app. Video frames and recognized subtitle text are processed locally with Apple frameworks. They are not uploaded. CaptionPeel writes an SRT file only when you choose a destination in the macOS save panel.
Network access
CaptionPeel does not require or initiate network connections during normal operation.
Retention
CaptionPeel has no cloud service or server-side database and retains no user data. Closing the app discards the current in-memory extraction session unless you exported it as an SRT file.
This website
This site is a static set of pages. It sets no cookies, runs no third-party trackers, and asks for no personal information. Our hosting provider processes standard request metadata transiently to serve and secure the pages.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected here with a new effective date.
